DISC Personality Types
The DISC model identifies four primary personality types based on two dimensions:
- D – Dominance (Assertive vs. Passive)
- I – Influence (People-focused vs. Task-focused)
- S – Steadiness (Stable vs. Changing)
- C – Conscientiousness (Fast-paced vs. Deliberate)

- Quick decision-makers who take charge
I – Influential
Characteristics: Outgoing, enthusiastic, optimistic, persuasive, social
- Focus on people and relationships
- Excellent communicators and motivators
- Energized by interaction and recognition
S – Steady
Characteristics: Patient, supportive, reliable, cooperative, consistent
- Focus on stability and harmony
- Value collaboration and loyalty
- Prefer predictable, steady environments
C – Conscientious
Characteristics: Analytical, precise, detail-oriented, systematic, quality-focused
- Focus on accuracy and quality standards
- Thorough researchers and planners
- Prefer data-driven, methodical approaches
Additional Blended Types:
Each person typically has a primary and secondary style, creating combinations like:
- DI, DS, DC
- IS, IC, ID
- SC, SD, SI
- CD, CI, CS
Most people exhibit traits from multiple categories, with one or two being more dominant in their behavior patterns.
